Gearing Up! - New Member Orientation Conference

Gearing Up is an exciting new two-day program that uses an anti-oppressive framework to help women members from equity-deserving groups in their first five years learn more about their union, workers’ rights, and how to get involved in ETFO and at their school. This program is for women in their first five years of ETFO membership who self-identify with one or more equity-deserving groups - 2SLGBTQ+, First Nations, Métis, Inuit, racialized, persons with a disability.

Date and time: April 15-16, 2026 - 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Location: ETFO Provincial Office, Toronto

Registration opens February 26 and closes March 16, 2026.

Expenses paid per ETFO provincial guidelines for release time, travel, dependent care, meals, and shared accommodation.
