April 28-29, 2026 This two-day leadership training conference is for members who are committed to becoming involved in their union and creating a just society. Successful completion of the course is a prerequisite for the following programs: Collective Bargaining Academy, Parliamentarian Training, and Union School Two concurrent programs are offered: a women’s-only program and a general program open to all members. April 23-24, 2026 Participants will explore what research says about the importance of engaging girls in the STEAM fields, network with colleagues, and plan and try practical STEAM activities they can immediately use to support girls’ learning in their schools, such as coding and design thinking. April 10-11, 2026 This exciting two-day symposium will bring ETFO members together to share ideas, build connections, and explore strategies for empowering students involved in Genders and Sexualities Alliances (GSAs) across Ontario.
